The Phoenix Affair
Someone is trying to kill a close friend of Mick Driscoll, and this friend doesn't know who or why. Or does he? Why wouldn't Ian Wilkenson tell the police or even Mick who he thinks is doing this?
Mick lets his curiosity get the better of him and starts looking into the matter on his own. Fully understanding a motto he has lived by, "discretion is the better part of valor or stupidity", Mick gets involved in something from Ian Wilkenson's past that even he had forgotten.
Not only does Mick put himself on the 'list' with Wilkenson, but the lives of several of the detectives working the case end up in jeopardy. Before they know it, they are involved in a mystery only James Bond could appreciate.
