Biography
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Pat graduated from Calvert Hall College High School, attended Essex Community College (Now the Essex Campus of the Community College of Baltimore County), and went with the Baltimore County Police Department. Eventually he graduated from E.C.C. with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice before transferring to Towson State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with concentrations in Physical Geography, Cartography, and Urban Planning.
Pat served the citizens of Baltimore County for 23 years. During those years he held assignments in virtually every realm of law enforcement. Also during that time he was recruited into the United States Naval Reserve where he attained the rank of Security Chief Warrant Officer before retiring. Pat began his Naval career in the Master-At-Arms Rating, achieving Chief Petty Officer before accepting his commission as a Chief Warrant Officer. During his Naval career Pat specialized in law enforcement & physical security, anti-terrorism / force protection, and was a senior law enforcement instructor during most of his service with the Navy.
Continuing his law enforcement and security career, Pat was a licensed Private Detective and provided protective service training to law enforcement officers. For several years he held investigator positions with State of Maryland agencies before leaving public service for a couple of years to work in the private sector. Pat has returned to the State of Maryland, assigned as an instructor at the Maryland Police Training Commission Police Academy and is an associate faculty member of the Community College of Baltimore County.
Pat still resides in Baltimore County, Maryland with his wife of over 30 years, Mary Sue, and their four cats.
